The 2011 BYU Cross Country Invitational @ Cascade promises to be a great event!  The meet will be held at Cascade Golf Course in Orem.  There are two collegiate races and two high school races.  The course was the site of the 2010 Mountain West Conference Cross Country Championships.  The layout of the course is on the lower nine holes, avoiding holes 5, 6, and 7, which have hills.

The 2011 high school cross country schedule required us to move the Autumn Classic to the weekend of the 10th, however, the collegiate schedule kept BYU on the next weekend, the 16th.  The BYU home football game with Utah moved us to Friday evening.  We have had a number of high schools request that we again host a meet on a golf course.  We have added in two limited-size high school races.   This is a great opportunity for the high school teams to run on a professional, championship course that is also very spectator friendly!  Come join us!

The collegiate races will feature Idaho State University, Utah, and BYU.

Races - The high school races have been canceled.  The University Men will run 4 miles.  The University Women will run 5K.  

Time Schedule
 

Awards - Individual awards will be given to the top 3 finishers in the collegiate races and the top 8 finishers in the high school races.  Team awards will be presented to the top team in each race.  

Timing - Timing and results by Rocky Mountain RunnerCard.  Each finisher will receive a personal RunnerCard at the end of the chute.  Results will be posted at the meet and web posted that same day.

Spikes - Spikes are allowed.

Cost - Cost for each collegiate team is $50, or $100 per school.  Your institution will be billed for registration fees after the meet.

Admission - Entrance to the Autumn Classic is free.

Warm-up -  The course will open to the athletes beginning at 5:00 pm.
